Awards Process for Midwest AAHPERD
Due to AAHPERD’s changes with the Awards Process, the application process is open to all state members that are also national members.
If you want to apply for any of the district awards and were not a state winner, you may submit your application to the National AAHPERD Headquarters by October 15th . The applications can be found on the AAHPERD website (www.aahperd.org). Completed applications should be sent via mail or email to:

Timeline
October 15th – all applications are due to AAHPERD Office
November 1st – all applications to the Midwest Awards Committee
First Sunday in December – Midwest Awards Committee Conference Call
December 15th – District winners sent to AAHPERD Office and all applicants notified
March – April – District winner to National Convention, district winners given plaques at Midwest Social
October – December – District winners recognized at State Convention
